Reading Time: 2 minutes

It looks as if we find another huge new book shop somewhere in China almost every week. Its magnitude would be a spectacular floor space in every sales sector, but even more surprisingly this type of development occurs in book shops.

This 1.300 sq.m  shop on four floors is situated in Zodi Plaza, which was finally constructed in 2016 in Chongqing. The Southwestern Chinese industrial town has a metropolitan area with over 30 million residents, and definitely has lucrative retail.

Once inside, dissipated “lampshade-formed bookshelves” are found all through the dim dark colored hall. Readers can feel as though they were in a splendid and warm personal study when they read in the warm light anticipated from inside the lampshades.

On the other corner of the entryway are the kids’ perusing room, where the bookshelves are manufactured brilliant pulled back Chongqing’s scene, structures, and transportation. Youngsters may feel like in the beguiling Chongqing while at the same time perusing in this room.

Up to the fourth floor from the “ladder room” is a relaxation territory, where guests can appreciate the smell of espresso or a sample of good tea and submerge themselves into a serene universe of various stories by perusing.
